Father Patrick Fiorillo hails from Franklin, Massachusetts.  Having played the drums since he was ten years old, upon graduating from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury he pursued studies in music production and recording at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford.  Although his two older brothers had inspired within him a love for 80’s Hair Metal at a young age, while in college he discovered the beauty of classical music, which became the focus of his recording work.  The highlight of his brief career in music production was his work as a recording engineer at the Aspen Summer Music Festival in Colorado.

Between late-night studio sessions and involvement with campus ministry, Father Patrick discovered his vocation to the priesthood.  After completing his Bachelor of Music in 2010, he began his formation for the priesthood at St. John’s Seminary.  Father Patrick was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston on May 21, 2016.  His first assignment was as parochial vicar at the Parish Collaborative of St. Ann and St. Brendan in Dorchester.

In addition to his assignment as parochial vicar at St. Paul’s and undergraduate chaplain, Father Patrick serves as a spiritual director for Pure in Heart America, a Boston-based young adult group dedicated to promoting the Church’s teaching on chastity through the study of Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  When his mind needs a break from theology, Father Patrick continues to play the drums in Vatican III, a jazz-funk quintet comprised of musicians who met in seminary.
