Ray Flynn has worked with Popes, Presidents and Prime Ministers and was friends with two Saints, John Paul II and Mother Teresa. He remains a leading voice in publicly recognizing the courageous work of priests and nuns in our country and throughout the world. He served as U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See and Mayor of Boston and was voted top student - athlete in the United States while a Deans List student at Providence College. He has been called one of “ The leading Catholic advocates for social and economic justice in the world,” by Saint Mother Teresa. Ambassador Flynn has visited, worked and fought for poor victims of disasters, wars, diseases and famine from India, Africa, South America and throughout the world. He remains a strong voice and tireless worker for Special Needs and Handicapped Children. Mayor Flynn was frequently introduced as “pro life, pro family and pro poor.”
